About Deadwood Brewery
Boston Bowl, a Phillips Family company, now offers fresh beer brewed on the premises with the opening of Deadwood Café and Brewery. With its bright contemporary décor highlighted by a trio of stainless steel brewing tanks, Deadwood is both a stand-alone destination and a welcome addition to Boston Bowl's dining and entertainment complex.
Matt Sammartino, brew master and fourth generation family member states "Our customers tell me all the time how great our beer tastes, in fact, last month more than half of all the draft beer we sold was our freshly made Deadwood beer"
Five styles of freshly brewed beer are served daily at Deadwood: Pilsner- similar to classic American beers; Stout; a rich dark beer made with four varieties of malt yielding a coffee like character; Nut Brown Ale, a blend of Pilsner and Stout with the rich character of a traditional English nut brown; Red Ale, similar in color to an English Ale with the hoppy character of a Pacific Northwest beer; and Bock Dark Beer, similar to American Bock beers of the early 1960's with a robust flavor. All are served in true Boston fashion ("wicked cold") in a 16 oz. pint glass and offered at $4.50 each or purchase a growler, 64 ounces of Deadwood's fresh brewed beer to enjoy at home.
In addition to custom-brewed beers, Deadwood Café and Brewery serves up other alcoholic beverages, such as wine or frozen Pina Coladas, complemented by a varied menu of American fare for lunch, dinner and everything in between. Specialties include pizza and calzones made with the restaurant's signature dough using extra virgin olive oil plus sandwiches and subs piled high with freshly cut Boar's Head deli meats.
